Privacy notice
Last updated: 22 October 2026
What this notice covers
This notice describes how the Afrimaker public website handles information. The platforms linked from this website have their own privacy notices and processes.
Information you send us
The contact form collects your name, email address, optional organisation, selected topic and message. We use this information to review and respond to your enquiry. The form also records a reference, submission time and handling status.
Please do not send passwords, payment details or confidential documents. The form does not subscribe you to marketing emails.
Storage and access
Enquiries are held in the website’s database and can be accessed through the authorised administration area. They are not publicly visible or automatically passed to the linked platforms. We retain enquiries while needed to handle the conversation and related follow-up. You can ask us to remove an enquiry using the contact form.
Technical information
The hosting infrastructure processes technical information needed to serve and protect the website. The enquiry endpoint uses temporary rate-limit records derived from a network address, or the submitted email where a network address is unavailable, to limit automated submissions. It does not store the raw network address in the enquiry record.
The public website does not add advertising cookies or third-party analytics. Administrator sign-in uses the hosting platform’s authentication cookies. Fonts may be requested from Google Fonts, which receives the technical information needed to deliver those files.
Other websites
When you follow a platform link, you leave Afrimaker. Review that website’s privacy notice before submitting information or using its services.
Questions or removal requests
Use the contact form and select “Privacy request”. Include your enquiry reference if you have one. We may need to verify a request before changing or removing information.
